Payment Methods

Encore offers a few ways to pay for plans, whether you're paying as the advisor or your client is paying directly.

Managing billing

You can access your billing settings from Settings in the left sidebar.

Payment is only charged at checkout, after all plan information has been entered and documents have been reviewed. Nothing is charged partway through.

Checkout options

When you check out for a plan, you can pay with:

  • A credit card on file

  • A new credit card

  • Plan credit

Plan credits and prepayment

Plan credits let you prepay for trust-based or will-based plans and apply them as plans come in, rather than paying for each plan individually at checkout. Purchasing credits in bulk also comes with a discount.

You can purchase credits from the Plan Packages button in the left sidebar.

Plan package pricing

  • 5-pack: approximately 5% off per plan

  • 10-pack: approximately 10% off per plan

  • Credits are valid for 5 years, so there's no pressure to use them right away

Recommended strategy

If you know you'll be writing multiple plans, buying a 10-pack locks in the biggest discount. You can then apply those credits as plans come in over time rather than paying full price plan by plan.

A few note on client-paid plans: The payment options above apply when you're paying for a plan yourself. When you send your client a review and payment link instead, they pay by card directly, and they'll need to enter a new card each time. Saved cards and cards on file aren't available on the client payment page. Plan credits also don't carry over to client-paid checkout.
