Advisor vs. Client Payment: Who Can Pay?

Who pays for a plan

Having a client-driven plan means the client typically pays.

Depending on your firm's checkout policy, you may also be able to pay for a client-driven plan yourself. If you don't see this option at all, your firm's checkout policy may not allow advisor payment on client-driven plans.

Having an advisor-driven plan means either the advisor or client can pay.

See Advisor-Driven vs Client-Driven Paths to learn more about the different paths and Client Access options.
