Note: Previously, deed transfers were handled via email with the Encore team, but it is now done in the Encore app. This article outlines the new process.
The deed transfer process at a glance
You provide property details: address, owner, and transferee
Encore pulls the official title, reviews all of the details, and prepares the transfer documents for signature (usually about 5 business days)
The client signs the documents, then you upload the notarized copies to Encore
Encore files the documents and returns the completed deeds to you
Getting started
Select "Deeds" on the left navigation menu
Add a client, or select an existing client
Add one or more properties. For non-primary residence addresses, you'll need to provide a mailing address for tax documents
Check out and pay for the deed transfer(s). Prices vary by state, see up to date deed pricing here
After you've submitted your request, wait about 5 business days and you'll get an email notification that the documents are ready to download for signature and notarization.
After notarizing the deed transfer documents, upload them back to the same page in Encore and click "Mark Ready to File" and we'll take it from there!
